AIRPORT DETAILS:

Upon Arrival, pass through immigration with luggage, (or if coming from a European country there is no immigration) but either way after luggage retrieval, proceed out of the airport and look for a sign that says (SET Network) you’re in good hands from there.

FERRY RIDE DETAILS:

There are (3) ferry rides. On the docks, while we wait for the ferry, there are light foods and drinks for purchase. However we suggest you eat before leaving the hotel. Also restrooms require (1) Euro to use on the docks. IMPORTANT FACTS: Ferries do not provide porter services, you will tote your own luggage.

Tour goes from Athens > (by ferry to) Santorini > (by ferry to) Mykonos > (by ferry to) > Athens

PACKING – Highly Recommended:

We strongly recommend that you pack (1) bag and (1) carry on for easy access. We will not have porter services, on and off ferries, it is a self service experience. Of course the hotels will have porter services. Our recommendation is based on the ferry rides.

MONEY IN GREECE:

Credit Cards are highly suggested for purchases HOWEVER, for tips and local purchases where cards are not accepted. The currency in Greece is the Euro, we recommend that you do the exchange with your bank before arrival to take care of tips and small local purchases. USD is not widely accepted.

TIPS & SERVICES:

The tour guides, your SET Network host and our on site service centers will work exceptionally hard to make this experience one to remember.

We recommend you plan for the standard tipping in this country at $20 a day, per person in your group. Tour guides and our local service centers in Greece, prefer Euros and of course our USA based team accepts cash, cashapp or zelle.

THINGS TO BE SURE TO PACK:

  • Comfortable Shoes – a good pair of sneakers & some flats, there’s a lot of walking between the various islands.
  • A Pair Of Water Shoes
  • Bring a washcloth. Some hotels will not offer this type of towel. This is standard for that side of the world.
  • Research chargers for Greece. We try to include one in your gift box, but it’s always good to have your own.
  • Weather is not cold but can be cool, so please pack some long sleeves and jeans, just in case.
  • A little clubwear, we might, as a group, go out on the town.

HOTEL BEDDING ADVISORY

In this country and most European countries the bedding is different than here in the USA not to mention that the rooms run smaller. For instance a double bed in our language is a twin bed there. A king in our language is double bed there.
